We spend so much time and energy on so many things other than our relationships. From building the 401K to the bikini body, we often have some interesting priorities. Don’t get me wrong, our physical health is incredibly important and if President Underwood has his way we won’t have Social Security checks when we retire. Still, real health and real wealth has more to do with the quality of our personal relationships than much of that other stuff.
Do you agree?
Imagine if we incorporated “relationship work-outs” into our week the way we schedule a swing to the gym? And I’m not talking about bedroom workouts!
What if you and your beloved were to schedule a 15 minute “check-in” where you exercised the communication skills, vulnerability and authentic alignment of your couples’ connectivity?
Consider what relatively small steps you can take this week to maintain the health and flexibility of your most valuable assets, your relationships!
